American Electric Power (AEP) is constructing a new state-of-the-art service center in Corpus Christi, Texas, that will replace two AEP facilities in the area. TTL was engaged by AEP to perform a geotechnical exploration and provide engineering recommendations. The facility will be approximately 94,000 square feet and will house 150 employees from various departments including Distribution Construction and Service, Supply Chain, Design Engineering, and Customer Service. This new facility provides significant upgrades from the existing facilities and will allow for a timelier response to customer needs. TTL provided geotechnical engineering services, construction materials services, and special inspection services.
