Case Study: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital
The project consisted of an approximately 172,000 square foot addition to the south side of the existing hospital complex. Initially, TTL performed a geotechnical engineering evaluation of the site to evaluate subsurface conditions and to identify a suitable type of foundation to support the structure.
TTL also performed special inspection services on the project that included monitoring pile installations; evaluating reinforcing steel for pile caps, columns, walls and elevated slabs; performing concrete testing and monitoring placement procedures; structural steel inspections for welds and high strength bolted connections; and compliance with project documents and current codes.
