TTL is seeking a Project Manager/Design Engineer (Commercial & Residential) for our offices in San Antonio. Your job will be to build and manage a team of professionals as part of our continued growth throughout Texas and the Southern U.S.

This opportunity isn’t for newcomers. We need someone with a clear understanding of state and local design criteria and experienced enough to perform a variety of commercial and residential engineering tasks. You’ll have to be comfortable coordinating with clients, consultants, government agencies, and project staff while developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients across the state.

You’ll be asked to:

  • Represent TTL in front of existing and potential clients.
  • Interface with jurisdictional authorities to represent the interests of TTL and our clients.
  • Manage scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for a variety of projects.
  • Provide engineering expertise on multiple projects.
  • Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Review and direct the work of others.
  • Document the design process and communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Four to eight years of experience in engineering services with progressive responsibilities including commercial, residential, and general land development engineering, and project delivery.
  • Texas P.E. or the ability to obtain one within three months. One or all Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana P.E. licenses a plus.
  • Expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D Design software, to include hydrology and hydraulic modules.

Desired qualifications:

  • Experience in street, drainage, water and wastewater infrastructure design.
  • Ability to articulate ideas and concepts.
  • Effective communication, technical writing, and proposal writing skills.
  • Involvement with professional engineering societies.
