Visiting construction sites with his father, a lifelong engineer with a state department of transportation, sparked interest in a career path for Mike. After earning a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Auburn University, his first project was overseeing a bridge replacement project that showed him what it took to be a successful engineer. Since then, Mike has managed projects from White Hall, Alabama, to Slidell, Louisiana, including an $800 million central business district project in downtown Birmingham for which he was principal in charge of construction. Decades of experience have allowed Mike to transition from the field to management, where he now manages and oversees contracts while leading his team across the Southern U.S.
