Originally from Döfering, Bavaria, Marcel’s life journey led him to Alabama, where he played a vital role in the expansion of the Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Operation his father helped establish. His portfolio includes diverse experiences including a year dedicated to enhancing a key Southern Alabama roadway, bridging the gap between Mississippi and Mobile. Throughout his career, Marcel has managed multiple geotechnical and materials engineering projects throughout the US spanning the commercial, industrial, institutional, utility, and transportation sectors. His responsibilities have encompassed overseeing data collection, directing field personnel, and executing comprehensive lab testing programs. When not enjoying outdoor activities with his family, Marcel collaborates with a dedicated team to address clients’ complex challenges.
