When Sugandh learned to see the stories that mathematics could tell, the “numbers” started making sense. This understanding led him from his native India to an engineering career in the US where he has tackled projects as varied as hurricane recovery in Louisiana and utility upgrades in Texas. Sugandh has led soil testing and foundation designs for projects ranging from transmission lines to water and wastewater treatment plants to highways and airports. He has performed or overseen inspections for a wide array of construction materials jobs ranging from structures and pavements to floor slabs and beams. Now, as head of TTL’s Geotechnical Business Unit and Energy Market Sector, Sugandh also mentors the future generation of engineers, showing them how to find solutions by better visualizing the problems.
