Lee brings more than three decades of experience in public service, finance, and community leadership to his role as Vice President of External Affairs at TTL.

Based in TTL’s corporate hometown of Tuscaloosa, AL, Lee strengthens relationships with public-sector and community partners — including states, cities, counties, school systems, utilities, hospitals, governmental agencies, and private businesses — to advance TTL’s continued commitment to delivering infrastructure solutions.

Before joining TTL, Lee provided public finance investment banking services to public-sector clients across the Southeast and nationwide, specializing in tax-exempt and taxable financings.

A graduate of The University of Alabama with concentrations in finance and real estate, Lee complements his business background with decades of public service. He served four terms on the Tuscaloosa City Council, where he chaired the finance committee, and later chaired the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education, leading a $250 million strategic plan spanning classroom-level improvements, technology, human resources, finance, and facilities.

Lee remains active in his community and statewide, serving on the Board of Directors of the Business Council of Alabama and as a board member of the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce. He also has held leadership roles with the United Way of West Alabama Campaign Cabinet, Black Warrior Council of the Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross West Alabama Chapter, Visit Tuscaloosa, Black Warrior Solid Waste Disposal Authority, and Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama.

Lee and his wife, Misty, are the proud parents of two children, Michael and Mags.
